Define what qualifies as a payout
Define what qualifies as a payout A published profit split is only one part of the payout rule. Check the minimum trading days, minimum balance or profit threshold, account age, first-payout waiting period and any consistency or buffer requirement. Write each condition as a yes/no test so that “eligible” has a concrete meaning. Confirm whether the calculation uses balance or equity and whether fees, commissions, open trades or adjustments are deducted before the amount is considered payable.

Check timing, caps and review steps
Check timing, caps and review steps Record the requested payout window, processing estimate, payment method, currency, minimum amount and any stated cap. A processing estimate is not the same as a guarantee. Also look for identity verification, manual review, document requests and circumstances that can delay or reject a request. If the terms describe different schedules for different models or account sizes, compare the exact model rather than applying a general FAQ answer to every product.

Read prohibited-strategy language carefully
Read prohibited-strategy language carefully Payout eligibility can be affected by conduct rules that are separate from drawdown: news restrictions, copy trading, account coordination, latency or arbitrage language, minimum holding periods and platform-specific limits. The wording and definitions matter, especially when a breach is assessed after a profitable period. Do not rely on a community summary when the contract uses a defined term. Save the official clause and ask the provider to explain any example that could change your decision.

Save evidence and compare like with like
Save evidence and compare like with like Before purchase, capture the product name, model, account size, price, payout page, terms URL and review date. Compare the total cost and conditions, not just the split. Our comparison pages are designed to help you locate the relevant fields; the provider’s current terms remain the final authority. A payout rule describes contractual conditions. It does not predict that a trader will make a profit or receive a payout.
